In the disc brake version for 6-bolt brake rotors, the 240 Classic MTB rear hub from DT Swiss with Super Boost-Standard offers you plenty of scope for extremely wide tyres. In addition, the new freehub technology from DT Swiss is also used on the hub with 157 mm axle width. The Ratchet EXP freehub uses the advantages of a ratchet with 36 teeth. These offer optimum power transmission, preventing undesirable idling. In addition, bearings integrated into the threaded rings increase the distance between the bearings. As a result, the axis moves less, which leads to a lower load on the bearings. Therefore, the already stable Boost hub is even more durable. Due to the no-tool concept, you can service the 240 Classic without tools and change the freehub body.
